What we do
Flower Farm Floristry creates natural, seasonal floral designs for weddings, events and everyday moments. I work with British-grown flowers wherever possible, combining my own farm-grown blooms with carefully sourced flowers to create relaxed, thoughtful arrangements.
-
Ethos
I believe flowers should feel natural, seasonal and unforced. I donât over-style or over-promise, and I focus on quality, colour, scent and form. Every arrangement is made with care and attention to detail, whether itâs a single bouquet or a full event.
-
Experience
I have many years of experience and some of the countries highest qualifications in floristry. Having worked across the industry in retail floristry, a garden centre and education I bring both creativity and reliability to every order.
-
Personal Reassurance
Flower Farm Floristry is run by me, Clare. From your first enquiry through to creating and delivering your flowers, youâll be dealing directly with me helped out by my super team of carefully chosen freelance florists every step of the way.

About the founder - Clare
Being brought up on a farm meant I always had a natural pull towards the outdoors and growing things was in my DNA. A love of flowers sparked by visiting my Grandad Websterâs gorgeous garden as a child led me to train to the highest level in Floral Design. I went on to work as a high street florist and for one of the countryâs top garden centres before becoming a lecturer in floristry. Â
After marrying my husband Andrew (another farmer) and having my eldest son in 2006, I decided it was time for a new challenge and started my own wedding flower business. In 2011, frustrated with not being able to source the types of flowers I loved, I chose to diversify part of our family arable farm â moving away from growing potatoes, carrots and wheat and into growing flowers instead. Â
The British-grown, often scented and gorgeous cottage-garden style blooms were an instant hit with brides and customers looking for the relaxed, romantic countryside vibe of wild and seasonal flowers â something a little different to what you might find at a typical high street florist. Â
Today I continue to grow and create beautiful floral designs from seed to bouquet right here at Flower Farm Floristry, bringing the landscapes of rural Lancashire into every arrangement.
Fresh, local, lovely flowers
Here's why we are different.
We really do listen
One thing our lovely customers often say? âYou just got it!â
Thatâs because we take the time to listen properly â asking the right questions to understand exactly what youâre picturing, then doing our very best to bring it to life.
We love using homegrown and British flowers whenever we can â theyâre fresh, beautiful, and better for the planet. But weâre also realistic. If somethingâs out of season or you have a specific flower in mind, weâre more than happy to source from the best growers around the world to get it just right.
No pressure, no flower snobbery â just flowers you love, the way you want them.
Fair, honest and no fuss
We believe in being straightforward and fair. Our prices are always transparent, and we work hard to offer the very best value for your budget â no hidden extras, no upselling, just beautiful flowers done properly.
You may find cheaper elsewhere, but we honestly think youâd be hard pressed to match what we offer in terms of quality, care, creativity, and service. We put our heart into every design.
We're kind and always happy to help
Weâre always here to listen, support, and guide you through the options. We know that sometimes flowers are needed in sad or emotional times, and we promise to treat every enquiry with care, kindness and empathy.
đ The best way to get in touch is by email: clare@theflowerfarm.co.uk
đ Or, if youâd prefer to chat, feel free to call Clare on 07780 950537 â just a heads-up that our phone signal is dreadful (sorry â rural life!), but weâll always get back to you as soon as we can.
We're LGBTQ+ allies
At Flower Farm Floristry, we love love and firmly believe that absolutely every couple should have access to the most beautiful flowers for their special day. Should yours be a traditional wedding, an elopement, a civil ceremony, handfasting, a commitment ceremony or any other way you choose to show how much you love each other and share that with your friends and family, we will be there for you to make that day even more beautiful.Â
We fully support LGBTQ+ rights and equality in marriage, and everyoneâs right to carry a bouquet or wear a buttonhole, or a flower crown on their big day (or not) regardless of your sexuality, gender or pronouns. If youâd like it, tell us, and we will make it for you and make it gorgeous without ever a hint of judgement.
We're all about the little details
We really do put our hearts into everything we do. Whether itâs a single bouquet or a big wedding order, every arrangement gets the same level of care and attention.
We hand-select each flower to make sure it looks just right, condition everything carefully, and double-check the quality before we start arranging. We take time to make sure weâre meeting your wishes, then package it all up beautifully and deliver with care.
We care about the planet
Looking after the earth and soil that gives us our flowers really matters to us â not just for now, but for the future too.
We do our best to source homegrown, local, and British flowers and foliage wherever we can. During the growing season, much of what we use comes straight from our own field on Clareâs families arable farm. Out of season, we may use imported blooms if needed, but weâll always choose with care and keep things as local as possible.
We avoid non biodegradable cellophane, artificial flowers, and poly ribbon, and prefer to present our flowers in reusable vases or wrapped in simple paper. We steer clear of floral foam as much as we can â but if a design really needs it, we use bio foam as a better (though not perfect) option.
We compost our green waste and cardboard, and donât use pesticides on our homegrown flowers.
