How Much do Wedding Flowers Cost in the UK? (A simple 2026 Guide)

If you’ve started looking into wedding flowers, you’ve probably realised that  the prices can vary a lot.

One couple might spend £300, another £3,000+ — so what’s the difference, and what do you actually need?

As a wedding florist based in Lancashire, we've worked with budgets as small as £100 up to £6500 so we have seen the whole spectrum. I thought I’d break it down in a simple, honest way to help you plan what’s right for your day.

 The short answer

We've found most couples in the UK spend somewhere between:

£300–£700 for smaller, simple weddings - bouquets and buttonholes, a few table flowers

£800–£1,500 for a more traditional setup - bouquets, buttonholes, table flowers, ceremony arrangements

£2,000+ for larger weddings with installations - all the above plus arches or other large installations.

There’s no right or wrong — it completely depends on your plans and your budget.

What affects the cost of wedding flowers?

A few key things make the biggest difference:

1. Size of your wedding

The more people in your bridal party, the more flowers you’ll need -  bouquets, buttonholes, table flowers and so on, that's before the outfits, hair, make up etc.

If budget is tight limit your bridesmaids and groomsmen numbers.

2. Style and scale

A simple bouquet and a few buttonholes is very different to:

large floral arches

ceremony installations

lots of large table arrangements

These take more flowers, time, staff, vehicles and mechanics.

3. Season

Seasonal flowers (especially British-grown) are often better value and look more natural.

Out-of-season, or tropical flowers can increase costs really quickly.

4. Delivery & setup

Full-service weddings include:

delivery - mileage and time taken

on-site setup

a team of florists

This is where costs can rise significantly. If budget is tight look for a florist who will let you collect the day before, you can save £100's!

What can you get for different budgets?

Here’s a rough guide to give you a feel:

Around £300–£700

Perfect for smaller weddings or registry office ceremonies.

You could have:

a bridal bouquet

3 bridesmaid bouquets

10 buttonholes

plus towards the higher end of this budget you could have 5 floral table centres too.

This is exactly where collection wedding flowers work beautifully.

Around £700–£1,500

A bit more flexibility, for example:

bridal bouquet

3–4 bridesmaids

10 buttonholes

7 table arrangements and a top table display

your flowers delivered and put in place.

£1,500+

This is where you start adding:

larger arrangements

ceremony flowers - pew end flowers, window sills etc

more styling elements

A simpler option for smaller weddings

Not every wedding needs a full setup — and more and more couples are choosing to keep things simple, a few bud vases with amazing scented blooms, full of movement and colour can create as much attention as a large arrangement that's cost a lot.

That’s exactly why I offer collection wedding flowers here at Flower Farm Floristry.

You can:

choose what you need from a menu

pick your own colour palette (Leave the flower varieties to us)

collect everything from the workshop in Burscough

It keeps things:

more affordable

less stressful

and still really beautiful

 Our style

All of our flowers are natural, seasonal and slightly wild, with lots of scent and movement, using British-grown flowers wherever possible.

They’re perfect for:

smaller weddings

relaxed celebrations

couples who want something unfussy but special

 Final thoughts

Wedding flowers don’t have to be complicated or overwhelming.

Whether you spend £300 or £3,000, the most important thing is that they feel right for you and your day.
