Flower Farm Floristry - Allyship and Us.

Why being an LGBTQ+ inclusive wedding supplier means so much to us.
As 2 middle aged straight women it might seem like we are jumping on the rainbow marketing bandwagon, but that’s not the case.
I have 3 children (this is Alison writing this by the way), an adult Trans Daughter, an adult Gay Son and a 12 year old Pokemon fan. I have gone backwards and forwards on sharing this in our business, not because of any shame. There is no shame, only pride. I am so incredibly proud of each of my children, their kindness, strength and resilience being only a few of the reasons. I’ve hesitated because I don’t want to use my children as a marketing tool, or a way for our business to seem a little bit more woke. But, having thought (and overthought) on this I realise that if telling customers about my children means that a couple who are wondering which wedding suppliers to choose, how to find a florist that is a safe place for them, then this might help.
At Flower Farm Floristry, we love love and firmly believe that absolutely every couple should have access to the most beautiful flowers for their special day. Should yours be a traditional wedding, an elopement, a civil ceremony, handfasting, a commitment ceremony or any other way you choose to show how much you love each other and share that with your friends and family, we will be there for you to make that day even more beautiful.
We fully support LGBTQ+ rights and equality in marriage, and everyone’s right to carry a bouquet or wear a buttonhole, or a flower crown on their big day (or not) regardless of your sexuality, gender or pronouns. If you’d like it, tell us, and we will make it for you and make it gorgeous without ever a hint of judgement.
